In 1910, my great-grandparents came to Northern California from Lucca, Italy, bringing with them a passion for exceptional food. Their treasured Tuscan recipes were passed down to my Nonni, then to my mother and then to me. From their restaurant across from the historic Ferry Building, my great grandmother shared her pasta and sauce with generations of hungry San Franciscans.
For the past five years, it has been my pleasure to preserve this legacy by bringing my family’s coveted meat raviolis and meat sauce to Northern California. I have now had to suspend My Nonni’s Italian Foods while I restructure the company and seek additional capital from investors and/ or future partners. My Nonni’s has been my pride and joy and I loved hearing the accolades from first, second and third generations Italians plus hundreds of loyal food enthusiasts. People loved the authentic Tuscan flavor base and could taste the quality ingredients that came from California’s Central Valley.
Iwill not give up on my dream and passion. I have great plans for the future with expanding the product line, expanding my sales territory and entry into the food service sector. I am the sole proprietor and built the company from grass roots marketing and sales position. Hopefully, with a little luck and some investors, I can do it again.
I will keep the web page active for future announcements and I have added more of my favorite family recipes. Buon Appetito to all who have enjoyed My Nonni’s raviolis and sauce. Your kind words and patronage has warmed my heart. I know my great-grandmother would be proud to see that her recipes are still loved and enjoyed by people today.
